Tres Kilos, Zürich // Restaurants and Coffee Places

The Tres Kilos Restaurant in Zurich is a very good mexican me and some friends went to a few weeks ago. Its situated at the Dufourstrasse and is easy reachable with either tram number four or number two.

It has that lovely feel of a typical Zurich restaurant on the border to the city, as soon as you sit down you get overwhelmed by the comfortable homey feeling that the waiters and the whole atmosphere support, it makes you want to stay longer than you intend on and even though it can get pretty loud, you can stil easily hold a conversation. Its not the biggest Restaurant I've ever been to but it is very roomy and open, it has its quirky little bits of art hanging from the walls which makes you wonder what is actually portrayed but it all adds up when the mexican musicians come and play at your table, you get submerged in stunning food, wonderful music and of course lots and lots of booze...

The food is absolutely beautiful, I had the chicken fajitas. The filling was brought on one platter and the fajitas on another so you could fill them yourself, and to be honest, even though I probably haven't had as much mexican food as some must have had, it was probably the best fajita I have had in Zurich....

So if you happen to be near that area, why not stop by and drop in. I'm sure you won't be dissapointed ;)

oh! and the Mojitos are to die for!!
